Decorating for Spring: Vlog Episode 17

Summer doesn’t officially begin for another month, but it sure feels like it here in the foothills of Northern California!

For the past several weeks I’ve been focusing on my design projects for Wayfair, wrapping up my parents patio reveal with Joss & Main, and you know, working. Now that the weather is nice, I’m balancing my free time between weekends in the city and getaways in nature.

This week’s vlog includes a dining room makeover I’ll be revealing in 11 days, shots from Monday’s patio reveal, a fun weekend in San Francisco and an outdoor adventure at a nearby lake:

Now that my house is sold with no work in progress for the first time in 5+ years, I’m posting more than ever before. Funny how that works. I’m still not sure how the pace will evolve, but I need to be creating like I need oxygen, so blogging helps fill the void when the DIY projects are gone. And with what I have planned for the rest of the year, I have a feeling the content will increase 🙂

Up next I have another makeover for you—this time it’s the downstairs lounge area. I explored a decorating style I’ve never tried before and am in love with the results. The reveal (complete with video footage!) will be posted Monday, but in the meantime I’ll be sharing previews on instagram, facebook and snapchat @ jennasuedesign (along with other upcoming projects).

I hope you have a wonderful & warm weekend!

  1. More content? Yay! Couldn’t be more thrilled. Seeing a new post from you brightens my day.

  2. Another beautiful vlog! You live in such an incredible place… Every week you seem to show a new area and they are always amazing! Will you be staying nearby when you move? Maybe you aren’t ready to say yet, but I’m curious!

  3. That was a beautiful vlog as always. What I always love about your style is the mix of more traditional and rustic which plays together very nicely. And boy can you place pillows and throws. What I love the most about your work is that you are budget conscious and make things affordable and practical. Now if you could only come to my house to arrange my pillows for me that would be excellent. Thanks for sharing. Just like others I’m looking forward to more content as well.
